Strategic Marketing Intern

I worked with CommunityApp as their Instagram Strategic Marketing Intern and managed two of their Instagram accounts from August 2020 to December 2020. I created content based on the region and target market for each account. I also maintained the consistency of posting at least twice per week. I generated leads through Instagram reach outs and engagement on both accounts and strategized other further developments of the platform and the distribution of the app.

Homecoming 2019

       I was Homecoming Chair for Student Foundation from January 2019 to December 2019. It was the last in-person Homecoming prior to COVID-19. I was in charge of coming up with all of the student events, marketing for these events and other student-centric marketing, and just get everyone excited for Homecoming. We partnered with other student organizations in order to create large-scale events. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the major Friday event and the Silent Disco was the major Saturday event. The picture below was one of the posters that we created listing all of the student events. I was never provided with actual numbers for attendance at any of the events that I planned, but the general consensus that I have gathered is that they were a lot of fun. Southwestern University and the next Homecoming Chair are planning on bringing back some of the events that were a major hit, such as the Silent Disco. 2019 was the first Homecoming for The Rocky Horror Pictu...
